The high-bandwidth QSFP28 module supports 500 m links over single-mode fiber via LC connector. The module converts 4 input channels of 25Gb/s electrical data to 4 channels of LAN WDM optical signals and then multiplexes them into a single channel for 100Gb/s optical. 100G optical transceiver has a variety of packaging forms, including CFP/CFP2/CFP4, CXP and QSFP28. This time applies to Power Class 2 or higher Room modules when LPMode Temperature is pulled low by the host Power y (power) common for the QSFP28 module.
